Hello,

I seek 3 beta-testers with minimum 4 or 6 servers who wish to take part in a beta test for IP loadbalancing. See below, thank you!

The principle of operation: We give you an IP (for example 91.121.43.230) which is load balanced on X servers (with the choice between 2 and 6 for the moment, in the future one will be able to have upto 10 or 20 servers in parallel). The servers must have OCO installed. Our monitoring system checks every 30 to 60 seconds if the OCO of the server is correct. If this is not the case, the server is set to " in default" and is removed from the load balancer. The IP loadbalancing continues to function with other servers in the cluster. As soon as the OCO is correct, monitoring adds of the IP back onto the load balancer.

It is load balancing with strong persistence (several tens of minutes to 1 hour) and knows how to manage as many sessions and transits as we want. We use Cisco for this load balancing with an extremely customised configuration (it took me a little more time to put it in place).

We are currently able to manage up to 6 servers in parallel with 1 ip load balancing. This means that your visitors will go to one of the 6 servers that you have and thanks to the persistence, they will always go to the same machine.

Therefore I need 3 customers who have between 4 and 6 servers and who are interested in this test. I will configure 1 IP for each one of these customers. It will be necessary to send me the list of 4/6 servers (the name and IP). Then the tests are finished. Please send to oles@ovh.net. I will configure that today and tomorrow, thank you in advances!!

Then it will take approximately 10 days to finish integrating IP load balancing in the manager. IP load balancing is proposed in certain offers only.

Regards,

Octave
