Hello,
I am currently resident in Gibraltar and was looking to rent a dedicated server through yourselves, but ran into a snag... OVH/Kimsufi are not available for order from here.
This seems strange as residents of most French Overseas Territories can order from OVH/Kimsufi.com.
So my questions is, why are residents of British OTs unable to order, when French OTs are?

A day later and still no reply...

2 days on, no reply. No official reply from the staff?
We plan to accept Gibralter based customers, but I have no further information available yet.

Thank you for the reply; do you envisage this change happening any time within the next 1 to 3 months or should I be looking elsewhere? :/
Hi
I am afraid we do not know at this time, however it is something we are looking into.

Just read the OVH will offer USA (as well as many other nationalities) the chance to buy directly from them.
With this in mind, any update on the status of Gibraltar?
[Edit]
I'd like to point out that almost all of Gib's telecoms go through Spain.
Gibtelecom buys bandwidth using Telefonica, and so uses their network (through Spain). They also use a microwave network to Morocco, but almost all goes through Spain. This is set to change though, when the EIG (Europe India Gateway, just under 4TBit/s of BW) is built in Spring 2010, which will link Gibraltar to the UK, Portugal, and France, amongst various other countries. Gibtel are also laying a cable directly from Gibraltar to a Madrid based ISP, Interroute (I think).
The other serious ISP competitor is CTS. Again all their bandwidth goes through Spain, but they use ONO's network (80% sure of this, as I used to get an ONO IP, before CTS had fully developed).
I don't really see why Gib residents can't use OVH's services directly...
(PS, don't make use buy through OVH's Spanish department, if an when we can use OVH)
