View Full Version : Ordered new kimsufi
I ordered a new i7-t2 yesterday night and it did say there were several that were ready in 1hr. How likely is this and what's the actual time I can expect this server to be ready?

Same! :(
Hi
You should send an email to customersupport@ovh.co.uk with your order number and we will then look into it, there could be a few reasons why your order has not been deployed yet.

Person I talked to on the phone said it could take a week or so, and I should pay to extend the contract on my current server in the meantime. No offer of free extension on the old server til the new one is ready, or setup fee waivering on the new one.
Pretty ****ty service when the website clearly says there are a bunch of servers available within 1hr.

And especially when you pay £50 for an automated system that does not work!
I have sent an email and have not received a reply.
its a bit stupid to have these times on the website and then not even be able to provide any feedback on the expected time for deployment.

It only works if the have the components from Intel.....

I see your email in the support system and it will be replied to shortly.
Ok thanks.
I can appreciate delays will occur due to loads of different circumstances but it would be really nice to be kept informed about what's going on.
Spoke to support and they refused to give me a time frame. Does anyone know if this is going to be days weeks months or years?
@adama
Did they say a week or so to you for the i7-t2's ?

They certainly did. and it has been now almost a week!
Tsk.
i dont understand how it can say 6 ready within 1 hr if they know they have a backlog of customers who have already paid them
A large amount of servers will be deployed over the next couple of days, so you should have your servers by Friday.
That would be great. Hopefully I can migrate from my old server before the lease runs out.
If you need a short lease on your hard server then let us know.
