Hello,
If you have a server at Ovh, you can now add up to 4 disks of 500GB each. The 500GB hard disk is available for £10/month. You can then add 2TB of storage space in addition to your disks!
To order
https://www.ovh.co.uk/managerv3/dedi...ces-usbdisk.pl
The execution of the orders will start tomorrow.
Do you need more IPs?
Regards,
Octave

Hi there,
I have rented one of these about 4 days ago...
When i log on to my server i can see that the drive is there.
I am using ubuntu desktop 8.04 and under Computer and Places it shows up as My Book.
When i go to use the drive i get an error message as follows :-
Cannot Mount Volume
Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied
The details of the error are as follows :-
A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal")
If anyone knows how to help that would be great...
Cheers

I'm in the same position.
I have had my device for 11 days and it's been totally unusable. The device simply will not mount.
