Kimsufi: installation costs

Hello,

We will balance the costs of installation on the
Kimsufi range. Starting tomorrow, all servers will
have installation costs equivalent to Q-1T. We will therefore be
increase the cost of installation of C-05G and decreasing
i7-2T/i7-4T/i7-6T installation costs.

The goal is to make the range more affordable i7-2T/i7-4T/i7-6T
and fight against the abuse now rampant on C-05G.

At the level of abuse, this happens on several levels:
- Improved detection and blocking of attacks generated by
servers hosted by OVH
- Offers protection against attacks
- The fight against spam

Regards
Octave

I just went to purchase another server only to find that your now charging £49.99 setup fee this is extortionate and I will now be looking elsewhere. This is not the way to treat long term customers.

If it means the network will be getting less abuse by *****s, then I think it's well worth it, besides, They've all gone on free installation if you pay for 12 months upfront.

Well I'm glad I came here. I saw this literally minutes before my server was due to be destroyed. I had lost the link in e-mail but was able to re activate it via my CP.

I won't be getting rid of it in a hurry now.

Considering theres 78 servers that are on the spamhaus list ( http://www.spamhaus.org/sbl/listings.lasso?isp=ovh.net ), makes me think if these detection/protection actually works, or am i missing the point. Only inbound attacks?

I know 78 is just a minor % to you as a company but....
